What are we looking for?
The quest is for documentaries made with vision and passion. Show us how you see the world we live in by exploring above theme through an English language documentary.
Divisions
Junior Secondary (S. 1 to 3)
Senior Secondary (S. 4 to 7)
Teams with a combination of junior and senior students are welcome! In such cases, the team will be categorised as a senior team.
Criteria of Entries
- Language: English
- Duration: 5-8 minutes
- All work must be original
- Shortlisted teams will be invited to present their work live at the awards ceremony
Awards & Criteria
- Best Directing Award
The documentary that shows outstanding direction and breathes fresh life and meaning to the story.
- Best Documentary Award
The documentary that best shows the use of script writing, cinematography, and storytelling in a compelling manner.
- Best Editing Award
The documentary that shows most outstanding editing ability, thus enhancing the mood of a story, and making the story progress at an optimal pace.
- Best Music Award
The documentary that captures its message or touches viewers using the most aesthetically appropriate music.
- Best Narrator Award
The documentary that shows exceptional narration.
Notably, clear diction, inflection, and tone will be appraised.
- Best Script Award
The script that best underpins the story/ thesis/ mood of the documentary.
- Most Creative Award
The documentary that presents the story in the most creative and effective light.
- Most Entertaining Award
The documentary that excites interest because of its entertainment value.
- People's Choice Award
The highest-voted documentary that wins most viewers' hearts.
- Think Again Award
The documentary that most effectively inspires the audience to "Think Again".
How to join?
- Form a team of 2 to 6 people (Maximum no. of teams per school is 15)
- Register online
- Send a cheque of HKD $50 to Wiseman Education Limited

- Cheque payable to Wiseman Education Limited
- Please write “Think Again Documentary Making Competition”, the name of your school, your name, class, contact no. and email at the back of the cheque.
- Submit your documentary online no later than 28 Feb 2009
