P-L-A-Y on Stage:
Practical Language Arts for Youth on Stage

PLAY on Stage is a fun and educational series of workshops that aims to teach English through drama.

Students will participate in a creative, challenging and fun process that builds language learning (notably, their listening, reading, articulation, and functional communication).

This series also aims to enhance students’ leadership and teamwork skills as well as their confidence in using English when interacting with others.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Extend students' interest in speaking in English
  2. Enhance students' creativity and vocabulary through improvisation, role play, script creation and dramatic performance
  3. Extend students' ability to plan, develop, and rehearse scripts
  4. Enhance students' articulation through modulation/ intonation exercises
  5. Extend students' leadership and teamwork skills through activities involving collaborative efforts
