Being a girl with a great desire to contribute, I enjoy being involved in different positive activities, regardless of their nature. As a result, I am able to grow with fulfillment and actualizations.
I have hobbies similar to most teens nowadays; chatting on MSN, accessing FACEBOOK, surfing on various websites, etc. Hold on! I must clarify that I am not an Internet addict. In truth, I love to equip myself with knowledge from all over the world. Besides, communicating with friends is a relaxing pastime after a harsh school day. With reasonable use of the Internet, we can enjoy the benefits of the cyber world. Apart from being a keen Internet user, I am also a trained dancer, an untalented singer and a photo-taking apprentice. Most importantly, I devote myself to family in my leisure time.

English Builder is actually the first English programme that I’ve come across in my learning. Although I feel frustrated when I get unsatisfactory results, I still carry on with the exercises as they really are worth finishing. There’s no doubt that I am exposed to more and more English items. Through the extensive lessons, I can learn English through reading materials from a wide variety of categories such as astronomy, cinematography, geography, current affairs and literature.

I have got an extraordinary name, which many teachers can't pronounce correctly the first or second time they meet me, and few classmates can spell out. Greetings to you from Ehsernta! It is a "home-made" name, created by my very own father. In spite of my special name, I'm absolutely ordinary. I'm just the same as everybody else, striving to achieve something in my studies and to enjoy my school life. I see myself as an outgoing, fun-loving and talkative person, who gets overly excited sometimes. English Builder is a great platform to improve one's language skills in different areas such as the comprehension of texts (written or spoken) and vocabulary and grammar acquisition. I find it hard to achieve high marks in English Builder when I am not concentrating on the course each week. The well-planned course motivates one to be diligent and attentive. English Builder is undoubtedly a great help on our self-learning journeys. What's more, the system isn't a strict or cold one. Words of encouragement are given after each lesson is finished, making it a friendly and humanistic approach to learning.

Hi! My name is Lam Hiu Ming (Siu Ming). I am an S.4 student from Po Leung Kuk 1984 College. It is quite difficult to introduce myself because I am a mercurial girl, so I’ll just introduce my favourite things. I love making jokes, but what a shame that people don’t always laugh. ‘English Builder’ was a name quite strange to me one year ago. When I was an S.3 student, my school recommended this programme. Throughout the year, I learned there were many advantages to using English Builder. This year, when I learned that I was accepted as an Ambassador, I was a bit surprised. Although I don't know whether I can handle it well, I will try my best. I believe I can benefit from this programme.

About Mandy
I am Mandy Lam from St. Paul’s School (Lam Tin). I think of myself as a ‘studious idiot’, as I am neither good at art nor sports. Nevertheless, I think I perform best in studying. I am an energetic girl, who always smiles and makes funny faces for my friends. My friends are the most important thing in my life. I always try my best to comfort my friends when they are miserable, even though I often make them feel worse. The most fascinating thing about me, in my opinion, is that I am over-talkative so my teachers often scold me.
In the past I was doing Level 2 exercises in form 3, and I thought the exercises were quite easy. Therefore, I could handle the exercises by only listening to the listening passage once. However, as I am doing Master Level this year, I find it is more complicated, and thus I have to listen to the listening questions first. Then, I have to listen to the listening passage and try to finish the questions. Lastly, if I really can’t do the questions, I try to do the reading part, which provides lots of hints for doing the listening part somehow.
What does Mandy think about English Builder?
In my opinion, doing the Master Level helps to enhance my integrated English skills. I can improve my listening skills more efficiently, as I don’t have a chance to read the content of the recording. I can also improve my proofreading skills by doing the assessment. The assessment gives me more chances to practice proofreading, which I performed really poorly on before, so this encourages me to learn English.
